What is EMS AirFlow?

AirFlow uses a fine spray of warmed water & Erythritol PLUS powder to gently deep clean the tooth surface above and below the gum line. This minimally invasive technology is safe to use on all oral surfaces & difficult to reach places: enamel, dentine, soft tissues, restorations, orthodontic appliances and implants.

Is AirFlow the same as scaling?

AirFlow and traditional scaling and polishing each have their strengths. AirFlow is excellent for removing stains, plaque, and early-stage tartar, especially in hard-to-reach areas. A scale and polish might be needed for tougher, more established tartar. Both methods are often used together for a thorough cleaning.

Does AirFlow help yellow teeth?

Teeth can appear yellow due to plaque, staining, or biofilm (bacteria) accumulation. Rather than diving straight into the teeth whitening process, removing this build-up first with AirFlow can be incredibly effective in brightening your smile. It’s also more cost effective.
